Hero Arts Stamps & Sizzix Emboss Folders - Christmas in July

Melissa from Memory Junction in Kamloops handed me some new toys to take home for the weekend. I started playing with this new set from Sizzix and Hero Arts, You get a stamp and and embossing folder. The results you can see. It was very easy and everything lined up great. This set happens to be a Christmas set, there are many other styles to choose from. Thanks Melissa, these were fun.

My First Zutter Album using Simple Stories "Awesome" Paper Line

This was my first experiment with my Zutter and it turned out awesome. Used the Simple Stories "Awesome" paper line which I bought at Memory Junction in Kamloops. Love this paper it coordinates so well. One page is a mini explosion box...lots of fun. I also used Tim Holtz on the edge dies. This album is 6x6 and I started out with 6x6 chipboard squares. This is for my son's 19th birthday.

A Quick Wedding card

I used Pemberly,  Outdoor Denim, Quick Card a Butterfly, and Love Always stamp sets.

Memory Box Dies

Love the Memory Box dies, and you can get them at Memory Junction, the new scrapbook store in Kamloops on Mt.Paul. They are super reasonably priced, intricate, and gorgeous. Watch for posts with some projects I make using them. There is also a metal plate adapter that I recommend. You can use them in your Bigshot and other similiar machines. They also have stamps that match some of their dies. Tip: cut die out first, and use a stamp a ma jig to line it up perfectly.

Smack Down Technique

Make your own paper using white cardstock and a stamp and ink colours of your choice. Ink up your stamp, stamp down and drag across paper until all the ink is off your stamp, repeat will other colours. Florentine paper pack used, with Timeless charms. Memory Box dies used were Chain and square ticket. Always have patterned paper handy when you can make it yourself.
